The start of my list

Today is the first day of my 101 things in 1001 days list and I missed it! I wanted to end the list on my birthday which is on the 18th of October and realised that I would then have to start on the 21st of Jan which is my sister's birthday. It's has to be a sign!!!
Well I forgot. My sister called my husband to remind me that it is her birthday. Lets hope that the other 1000 days are better :-)
Happy Birthday Ronel!

A better future for all

THE MYSTERY AUDI: This is the Audi R8 V10 "donated" by a mystery Cape Town businessman to two car guards "to help the needy".

The extraordinary gift, has piqued the interest of visitors to the mountain and the two men have been stopped several times by police who thought they must have stolen the gleaming black Audi R8.  Each time they were released because the businessman, a Capetonian who only bought the car in the city at Christmas, confirmed their bizarre story. He asked the car guards not to identify him.

Why you shouldn’t play with the fat kid.

Yesterday when I fetched my kids from school first thing my daughter said was mommy, my brother is playing with the fat kid! I told her that I’m glad he made a friend and what she said next shocked me: But mommy, you said we’re not allowed to play with fat kids.

My 101 things to do in 1001 days

This idea is from DayZero, and I have seen it posted on several other blogs. I thought it was a wonderful idea and will start on Thursday, January 21, 2010 so the end day will be on my birthday October 18, 2012

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part

Bold - In progress
Strikethrough - Completed

Everything happens for a reason…

Today, for my second post I wanted to write something about the saying – everything happens for a reason. My life has been pretty interesting and whenever something bad happens there is always someone who says ‘Don’t worry about it, remember everything happens for a reason’ then I have to hold myself back from punching them in the face and saying it back to them. Personally I do not believe it; I believe that more than often shit happens for no reason at all.

100 Things about me...

This is my first blog post and I decided to take the easy way out and write 100 things about me...

1. I always wanted to blog, it’s normally on top of my new years resolutions list. I tried it twice and failed… I have 2 blank blogs to prove it.  It's not entirely blank, the one has 1 post and the other 3

2. I got married at 21. Got engaged after 1 month of dating and married 5 months later. You know when you know when you know

3. I never wanted to get married or have kids
